Lake of The Ozarks Shootout History
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout has a vibrant history, beginning in 1989 as a local boat race. Over the years, it evolved into a celebrated event, showcasing the fastest boats in the region. By 1997, it became the Lake Fire Rescue Shootout, bringing communities around the lake together.
The Shootout’s legacy is one of growth, camaraderie, and community support. In 2017, it entered a new era with a ¾-mile course, setting the stage for even more positive milestones in the years to come.
